*************   SPONSORSHIP NEWS   ***************

We are excited to announce that we have a new sponsor for the TVHSA

Horsemanship Medal class.  The class is being sponsored by Loe

Equestrian in Memorium for Harley.  The winner of each medal class

over the course of the show year will receive a special saddle pad, and

the year-end Medal Winner will receive a tack trunk.  This 2'6" class

is a great opportunity to get Medal class experience.  TVHSA depends

on the generosity of its members to make our shows a fun and reward-

ing experience, and Loe Equestrian has come through for us with this

terrific sponsorship--thank you!!

**************  2010 SHOW SCHEDULE  **************

Our February 28th Camelot and March 7th Hansen Dam show were

both cancelled due to the weather.  Since the Camelot show was sup-

posed to be our Annual Benefit Show, with double points, we have

made the Camelot show on March 14th the Benefit Show instead.

Let us know if you have any questions.

The current 2010 Show schedule is posted on the site.  Please see our

Upcoming Shows page for the new information.  Also, please note

that we do update the page from time to time as shows may be can-

celled or added over the course of the year.

****************   EMAIL UPDATE   *****************

If you haven't already done so, please send us an email so we can up-

date our email mailing list with your most current email address.  That

way, we can keep you informed of any last minute show changes, points

updates, or other important TVHSA information.

************  HANSEN DAM SHOW INFO  *************

The TVHSA shows at Hansen Dam this year are being run by the

Langer Equestrian Group, and have been designated by them as the

"Lake View" series of shows.  Since Langer does not have any online

signup available and does not use Horseshowtime.com, you must go to

their website to get the prize list (premium) and entry form to mail into

them to enter our Hansen Dam shows (see link below).  As a bonus

for the all the Lake View shows, they are giving you one class free if

you get your entry in by the show entry deadline.  (See their entry form

for more information.)  As always, let us know if you have any questions.

You can get a jump start for 2010 by joining TVHSA or renewing

your Membership now.  The 2010 Membership form is now available

on our site.  Just print the form, fill it out, and send it with your check,

and you'll be all ready for next year's show season.  The cost is $35

per year and includes the registration for one horse.  Subsequent horse

registration is $5 per horse.  PLEASE PRINT LEGIBLY on the form

(especially your email address, as we do last-minute updates via

email) so we can make sure we have all your information recorded

correctly.  If you have any questions, please let us know.  Please note

that you'll need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and print the

form.  Click here if you need to download Adobe Acrobat.

We have Kathy Busfield and Four Oaks Farm sponsoring the Tri-

Valley Hunters Division year-end champion.  The winner of this year-end

award will receive a custom pencil portrait of his/her horse and a perpet-

ual trophy.  To qualify for this award, the division must go at least six

times during the course of the show year.

Please see the 2010 Constitution (also newly updated and on our site)

for complete rules and regulations on these classes.  This document

will answer almost any question you may have about how TVHSA

is run, but, as always, if you have any questions you feel we have not

addressed in our constitution, please let us know.

*****************************************************************

Please note that you can now enter many of our shows by going to the

Horse Showtime web site at www.horseshowtime.com.  Check out this

site to see the list of TVHSA shows that can be pre-entered online.

You will also see the site listed on various premiums if the facility has

its show listed on the site.  Also note that any information or results

posted on horseshowtime.com are the sole responsibility of their site

(TVHSA has no control over what they put on their site) and you must

contact them directly if you have any questions about information you

see there.  The final authority for TVHSA points will be the tallies you

see on our site, not what is posted on horseshowtime.com.  Any ques-

tions, let us know.

The 2010 TVHSA Constitution and Rules Document is now on the site.

Most questions about classes, points, and how we run our shows can

be answered by reading the Constitution.  If you have any questions,

please let us know.  Please see the Constitution and Rules page to

access the document.

If you haven't already done so, please send us an email so we can up-

date our email mailing list with your most current email address.  That

way, we can keep you informed of any last minute show changes, points

updates, or other important TVHSA information.

If you have any photos from recent shows, please send them in--we'd like

to start a photo page for our members.

OTHER NEWS

It's never too early to start collecting pictures to submit for the 2011 Banquet Pro-

gram.  As always, TVHSA is looking for photos depicting horse show life. This

means pictures of jumping, flat, groups and show barn life; there are no limits, but

photos from TVHSA shows are preferred. Please keep in mind that these photos

are not for ad usage, but for inside artwork.
