************ CURRENT NEWS ************
Our 2008 show season is now underway. We now have the points
posted through the April 27th show at Hansen Dam. As always,
please check your points carefully and let us know as soon as pos-
sible if you see any discrepancies or if you have any questions about
your points tally.
The 2008 TVHSA Membership Form is now available on the site.
Download the form and send it, along with your check, to Mary Jane
Watson. All the information you need is noted on the form.
PLEASE PRINT LEGIBLY on the form so we can make sure we
have all your information recorded correctly. If you have any
questions, please let us know. Please note that you'll need to have
Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and print the form. Click here if you
need to download Adobe Acrobat.

We would like to acknowledge our generous sponsors for supporting
TVHSA. We couldn't do this without the help and support of great
people who care about horses and riders:
-- Holly Gross is sponsoring the Walk/Trot Division and the Horse-
manship Medal.
-- Terry Payne is sponsoring the Pony Division
-- The Mallorys and the Hatmakers are sponsoring the Stirrup Cup Medal
-- Eileen Horta is sponsoring the Low Children's Division
Many, many thanks to you for your continuing support of TVHSA!

Please note that you can now enter many of our shows by going to the
Horse Showtime web site at www.horseshowtime.com. Check out this
site to see the list of TVHSA shows that can be pre-entered online.
You will also see the site listed on various premiums if the facility has
its show listed on the site. Also note that any information or results
posted on horseshowtime.com are the sole responsibility of their site
(TVHSA has no control over what they put on their site) and you must
contact them directly if you have any questions about information you
see there. The final authority for TVHSA points will be the tallies you
see on our site, not what is posted on horseshowtime.com. Any ques-
tions, let us know.
The 2008 TVHSA Constitution and Rules Document is now on the site.
Most questions about classes, points, and how we run our shows can
be answered by reading the Constitution. If you have any questions,
please let us know. Please see the Constitution and Rules page to
access the document.
If you haven't already done so, please send us an email so we can up-
date our email mailing list with your most current email address. That
way, we can keep you informed of any last minute show changes, points
updates, or other important TVHSA information.
If you have any photos from recent shows, please send them in--we'd like
to start a photo page for our members.
Rita Barna, longtime ring announcer for the TVHSA circuit, has suf-
fered a brain aneurysm and needs our help and support. Rita's friends
have set up a bank account for donations to help with Rita's medical
and other bills, as her recovery is expected to take a long time, during
which she will not be able to work. If you are interested in donating to
this fund, please do so to the following address:

*************** OTHER NEWS *******************
We are excited to have Equine Insurance continue to sponsor a medal class
again this year at the TVHSA shows. When you accumulate 20 points in this
class, you will win a halter with a nameplate. Past year-end awards have in-
cluded a trip for the division winner, as well as his or her trainer.
SPONSORSHIPS
Any individual or business interested in advertising should contact us for more
information. Also, we now have award nomination and sponsorship forms
available in PDF format. See the Sponsorship Page for more details.
We always have sponsorships available for anyone interested in sponsoring a class
or division for all TVHSA shows throughout the year. If you would like more
information on any sponsorship opportunities, please contact us.
OTHER NEWS
It's never too early to start collecting pictures to submit for the 2009 Banquet Pro-
gram. As always, TVHSA is looking for photos depicting horse show life. This
means pictures of jumping, flat, groups and show barn life; there are no limits, but
photos from TVHSA shows are preferred. Please keep in mind that these photos
are not for ad usage, but for inside artwork.
